By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to pay for your driving lessons in advance or on the day, before your lesson commences. Failure to pay for your lesson will result in the lesson being cancelled with the amount due invoiced to you. 24hours notice is required to cancel or amend a booking, failure to do this will result in the lesson being charged to you.
Pirates Driving School reserves the right to cancel a lesson with short notice due to mechanical breakdown or illness, these lessons will not be charged for.
Pirates Driving School reserves the right to cancel a lesson if the pupil is unfit to drive due to drink, drugs, general fatigue or any other reason with the lesson being charged to you.
Pirates Driving School reserves the right to withdraw their car and refuse to take the pupil to test if the instructor feels that the pupil is not at the standard expected by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). Enough notice will be given so that the pupil will be able to make alterative plans if necessary.
Practical tests will be booked by Pirates Driving School after payment has been made. You have the right to book or amend your test at any time but Pirates Driving School may not be able to fulfil that commitment due to the unavailability of the car or the pupils standard of driving.
Pirates Driving School reserves the right to test your eyesight by reading a standard number plate from 20.5m, failure to achieve this will result in you lessons being terminated until you seek professional advice. It is against the law to drive if you cannot reach this standard, use of glasses or contact lenses are permitted but must be worn to each lesson if they are needed.
Pirates Driving School will maintain a high professional approach to all lessons and will strive to meet appointment times as arranged. Pirates Driving School cannot be held responsible for the late running of a lesson due to traffic or mechanical problems but as a commitment to you I will offer a free lesson to you if I am more than 30 minutes late without giving you notice by phone and without just cause.
Pirates Driving School offers discount rates for 10 lessons booked and paid for in advance, all other lessons will be charged at the standard hourly rate. All 10 lessons must be completed otherwise the standard hourly rate will apply.
The Pass Plus course is offered at a discounted rate to those booking the course within a month of passing their practical test and taking the course within 2 months of passing.
One week notice is needed for cancellation of this course, failure to complete the course within 2 months will result in the full price having to be paid.
Pirates Driving School will not send off for the Pass Plus certificate until monies used to pay for the course have cleared through the banks.
